767 St. Nicholas

Located in the Hamilton Heights/Sugar Hill Historic district in Manhattan, the rehabilitation project entails the conversion of a single room occupancy four stories townhouse, into a seven residential units building. In the interior, the circulation core remains at its original location with the XIX century wood ornamentation restored. In the exterior the project reinstalls the previously removed original characteristics of the building. A historic replica of the stoops restores the parlor level main access and double hung curved windows reinforce the building circular shape. The rehabilitation project qualified for federal preservation tax incentives program.
